Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MuslimBid (the "Service"), operated at this website (the "Site"). By submitting a listing, paying to claim or take over a position, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

1. What MuslimBid is

MuslimBid is a public advertising board with five (5) listing positions, shared across all categories. Positions can be claimed for free, first come first served, or taken from their current holder by paying more than that position's current price (an "outbid"). Full mechanics and current prices are described on the Pricing page, which is part of these Terms by reference.

2. No account required

The Site does not require you to register an account or log in. Submitting a listing or making a payment is treated as your agreement to these Terms, tied to the business information and (where applicable) payment details you provide at that time.

3. Submitting a listing

When you claim or take a position, you provide a business name, a link, and a category. By submitting, you represent that:

• You're authorized to advertise the business or link you're submitting.
• The information you provide is accurate and not misleading.
• The link and business are legal to operate and advertise in the jurisdictions you're targeting.

We may remove a listing at any time, without notice, if it violates these Terms or Section 4 below — including a listing already paid for, without refund beyond what's described in the Refund Policy.

4. Prohibited listings

You may not submit a listing that:

• Advertises anything illegal, or content prohibited under applicable law.
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonates another business or person.
• Links to malware, phishing pages, or anything that harms visitors' devices or data.
• Promotes hate speech, harassment, or content otherwise inconsistent with MuslimBid's purpose of showcasing Muslim-owned businesses in good faith.

5. Payments and pricing

Paid positions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record for all purchases on the Site. Paddle handles payment processing, tax collection/remittance, and billing support; your payment relationship for a purchase is with Paddle, subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.

Current prices are shown on the Pricing page and may change at any time; the price in effect at the moment you pay is the price that applies to that transaction.

6. The outbidding mechanic

Paying for a position that's currently held does not remove the previous holder outright — they move down to the next position their own paid amount still exceeds, cascading further if needed, keeping whatever time remained on their original 24-hour hold. If no position clears their paid amount, they're removed from the board and refunded for unused time as described in the Refund Policy. A position's price never decreases — it resets only to the amount most recently paid for it.

7. No guaranteed results

MuslimBid does not guarantee any specific amount of traffic, clicks, visibility, or business outcome from a listing, whether free or paid. The Site is provided to give a listing a place to be seen — nothing more is promised.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuslimBid and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including lost business or lost profits, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to the amount you paid us in the transaction giving rise to the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after a change is posted means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION — TO BE CONFIRMED], without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
