Privacy Policy

MuslimBid doesn't have user accounts, logins, or profiles. This page explains the little data the Site does handle, in plain terms.

1. What we collect

Listing information. When you claim or take a slot, you submit a business name, a link, and a category. This is shown publicly on the Site — that's the whole point of a listing — so don't submit anything you don't want public.

A random visitor ID. The Site stores a randomly generated ID in your browser's local storage, used only to count unique visitors without repeat page-loads inflating the number. It isn't tied to your name, email, or any identity — it's just a random string your browser holds onto.

Live "online now" presence. While the Site is open in your browser, it briefly registers as "online" so the live visitor count is accurate. This is not stored anywhere — it exists only while your tab is open and disappears the moment you close it.

Payment information. If you pay to take a position, payment is handled entirely by Paddle.com Market Limited as Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details — Paddle collects them directly and shares with us only what's needed to know a payment succeeded (amount, position, timestamp). 2. What we don't collect

We don't ask for your name, email, or phone number to browse or claim a free slot. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising, and we don't sell any data to anyone.

3. Who else touches this data

• Supabase — hosts the database that stores listings and the visitor-ID counter.
• Vercel — hosts the Site and provides aggregate, anonymized traffic analytics (page views, not individual tracking).
• Paddle — processes payments and related billing data, as described above.

None of these receive more than what's needed to run the Site.

4. Your choices

Want a listing removed? Email us and we'll take it down. Want your browser's visitor ID cleared? Clear your browser's local storage/site data for this domain — it's stored only on your device, we can't do that remotely because we don't have a way to identify "your" copy of it in the first place.

5. Children's privacy

MuslimBid is intended for business owners and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

6. Changes to this policy

If this changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
